Available on many electric seats.
Water temperature, pressure, and spray position.
Less wiping, less irritation.
Helpful for anyone with limited reach or mobility.
Nice extras on many models.
From a simple attachment to a full smart toilet. We install all three.
These are what trip people up most. Not sure? Call us before you order and we'll help.
Round or elongated? Measure from the bolt holes to the front of the bowl. Seats are made for one or the other.
Outlet nearby? Electric seats need a grounded GFCI outlet within cord reach. No outlet means an electrician first.
Shutoff valve condition. The bidet tees in at the valve. Old, stuck valves should be replaced.
One-piece or skirted toilet? Some have curved tanks or hidden bolts that limit which seats fit.
Room behind the seat. Electric seats need space between the bolt holes and the tank.
Who's using it? Kids, guests, or limited mobility can change which controls work best.

If it's not right, we make it right. 28 years and three local offices behind that.
I'll admit it: a lot of folks are skeptical about bidets until they try one. Then they want one in every bathroom. Warm water, a heated seat on a January morning, and a lot fewer rolls of toilet paper. It's hard to argue with.
The part people underestimate is the hookup. A loose tee fitting or a tired old shutoff valve can drip for weeks before anyone notices the floor. We'll make sure your bidet fits, connect it right, test every fitting, and show you how to use it. No awkward questions, I promise.

Fit, outlets, seat vs. smart toilet, and leaks. Straight answers here.
Most bidet seats fit standard two-piece toilets, but you need the right shape, round or elongated, and enough room between the bolt holes and the tank. Some one-piece and skirted toilets have limits. Earl's Plumbing can check your toilet before you buy, or confirm the fit of a seat you already have.
Electric bidet seats with heated water, heated seats, or dryers need a grounded GFCI outlet within reach of the power cord near the toilet. Non-electric bidet attachments do not need power at all. If you want an electric seat and do not have an outlet nearby, an electrician will need to add one before installation.
Non-electric bidet attachments use water pressure only, cost less, and need no outlet, but most spray cold water unless connected to a hot line. Electric bidet seats, like the Toto Washlet, add warm water, a heated seat, an air dryer, and adjustable pressure and spray settings. Both connect to the toilet's water supply.
A bidet seat is the simplest upgrade, because it replaces only the toilet seat and lid on the toilet you already have. An integrated smart toilet builds the bidet into the toilet itself, with a cleaner look and features like automatic flushing, but it replaces the whole toilet. We can install either one.
A tee fitting is added at the toilet's shutoff valve so water feeds both the tank and the bidet. If the existing shutoff is old, stuck, or leaking, we recommend replacing it with a new quarter-turn valve and braided supply lines at the same time, so the new bidet is not connected to a weak link.
Yes. Earl's Plumbing installs bidet seats and attachments that customers buy online or in stores. Before the visit, tell us the brand and model so we can confirm it fits your toilet and whether it needs an outlet. We install it, connect the water supply, check for leaks, and show you how to use the settings.
It can if the tee fitting, supply hose, or shutoff valve is loose, worn, or cross-threaded, which is common with rushed do-it-yourself installs. A slow leak at the base of the toilet can damage the floor over time. Earl's Plumbing installs and repairs bidet connections and tests every fitting for leaks before we leave.
It depends on the bidet, your toilet, and whether the shutoff valve or supply line needs replacing. A seat install on a toilet with a good valve is a quick job, and a full smart toilet is a bigger one. We don't charge a service call fee, you'll get a free quote, and online customers get $25 off.
